EVENTS IN THE VAIL VALLEY - SUMMER 2007 BRAVO! MUSIC FESTIVAL – June 24-August 2 - The Vail Valley is the only place where you can find three resident orchestra at one music festival sharing one stage. This summer the Bravo! Vail Valley Music Festival brings the Rochester Philharmonic, The Philadelphia Orchestra and the New York Philharmonic as well as over 40 acclaimed soloists and chamber musicians to Vail for a dazzling 20th anniversary season. The seven week festival will be punctuated with intimate chamber music performances, lively jazz concerts and inspiring festive classics. VAIL LACROSSE SHOOTOUT – June 27-July 4 - Teams from all over the country return to Vail for the 35th annual invitational tournament. Games take place all over the Vail Valley. VAIL INTERNATIONAL DANCE FESTIVAL – July 29-August 12 - The 2007 season of the Vail International Dance Festival will feature the Pacific Northwest Ballet, DanceBrazil, Ballroom’s Best and a selection of some of the world’s best dancers in the International Evenings of Dance. HOT SUMMER NIGHTS CONCERTS – Tuesdays, June 19- August 21 - Come outdoors for the rockin' social event of the season with hot bands in a casual, up-beat setting. All for free! The 20th anniversary season of Bud Light Hot Summer Nights is scheduled for every Tuesday evening from June 19 through August 21.The 2007 edition of Bud Light Hot Summer Nights features an extended season, with a total of 10 free concerts scheduled throughout the course of the summer months. The series will also include a special dance performance on July 31 in conjunction with the Vail International Dance Festival. Concerts begin at 6:30 p.m., doors open at 5:30 p.m.

VAIL FARMERS MARKET – Sundays, June 17-September 16 - The Vail Farmers' Market & Art Show focuses on farm and food products and the Market attracts some of the best vendors in Colorado. In 2006 the Vail Farmers' Market grew to more than one hundred tents each week and drew over 100,000 visitors. Farmers arrive early every Sunday morning with refrigerated trucks loaded with freshly picked conventional and organic fruits and vegetables. Specialty vendors work from colorful tents selling freshly made breads, pastries, cheeses Colorado wines and ice cream. Others offer delightful selections of pastas, pickles, brats, maple syrup, jams, chocolates, salsas, olive oils, vinegars, soaps, dog treats, Colorado wines, jerky, teas, spices, wild Alaskan seafood, Colorado meats and more. Selections change weekly. Come and join in the fun!! The dates for summer, 2007 are Sundays, mid June through mid September, 10:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
